Dr. Susan Maxwell is a senior research scientist at the U.S. Geological Survey Earth Resources Observation Systems Data Center in South Dakota. She specializes in land cover characterization using satellite data, with special emphasis on agricultural and human health applications. She has a B.S. in Computer Science from Colorado State University and a Masters and Ph.D. in Remote Sensing from Colorado State University. She has been a collaborating scientist with EHASL sense 1997. Currently she is involved with several environmental epidemiological studies using remotely sensed imagery and GIS for agricultural chemical exposure.
